Purple Repetition

Folks,

as said many times before, i try to show new stuff with every post i´m uploading here. Still, sometimes you got to stick to textile choices that have proven successfull (in my case that means "looking dapper") in the past.

I am pretty sure i used this shirt / tie / sc combo before, and maybe even the pants / socks / shoes have been seen in this particular configuration.

There´s likely only one reason to be drawn then: i need new stuff ! ;-)

Working my head in and to the bones

half past nine and i´m still not seeing the end of the working day: am i doing something wrong?
Guess one could feel like that, but honestly: no guts, no glories. Permanent. And as long as you´re dressed in linen herringbone, it´s all right, i guess.

Bringing out the inner Italian

Folks,

i´m spending the next three days at my parent´s house, together will my love, enjoying the easter break. Getting back to regular scheduled programme on tuesday.

With temperatures climbing up the scale, it was time to rock the new unstructured cotton blazer i recently bought. Surgeon cuffs on it and a self-made laple flower...

Signature look

Folks,

i had an awesome day today: it started off with feeling proud and confident when i got to work, continued throughout the day and ended with sipping beer and eating pizza with A and S, two of my colleagues. Nothing better than chatting, enjoying springtime and laughing together with people that matter.

Clothwise, today´s get-up included pretty much everything i like when getting dressed: colours, patterns, woolen ties, short trou and desert boots. If i had to choose a look that totally represents me and might serve as a dressing signature, that would be probably it.

First 5 colours, than 5 textures

this is the last entry for this week, as i´m of to Dublin for 5 days...won´t be able to post (potentially), so you have to take a break on Kleidsam.

Yesterday was all colourful, today i focussed on throwing togehter various textures...and guess what, i pretty liked it!

spring is taking up pace and i need to say that i feel accordingly, at least when it comes to dressing. Despite the fact that the mornings still call for extra layers to go underneath the jacket (e.g. cardigan), one can notice rising temperatures with every hour passing...

Scott Alexander, author of The Cable Knit Collegian and shop owner of CKC shoppe, inspired me to host my own shop, which´s entrance can be found in the left corner. Additionally, i recently bought some ties over at Scott´s and now look what he got me: how awesome are those? (the two on the left even came as a gift...). Thx a lot, Scott and i recommend you guys checking the stuff he has over there (and mine as well :)).

Despite sunshine: grey

Folks,

clearly not in terms of mindset, but in terms of colour: felt like bringing out the well-known combo grey / tan out today...along with a thick dark blue wool tie in herringbone weave and one of my self-cut pocket squares.

Apart from that, i brought two recently bought jackets to a tailor Mike of InnerCityStyle told me about: although the shop itself seems pretty much packed and not very welcoming from the outside, the tailor (a lady) seems to successfully run her business. I´m pretty keen on the outcome and i am sure she´ll meet my expectations.

Enough with the babbling...btw: do you guys prefer the larger picture sizes or do you want me to return to the old, smaller shaped ones?
