Folks,
with the german summer seemingly being a twin of autumn (rain all day long, winds blowing, etc.), i already started preparing my textile cabinet for the upcoming fall season. I have ever been a fan of Polo Ralph Lauren´s youthful sub-brand "Rugby", but refrained from buying stuff so far because of their rather sophisticated prices...until today. I just couldn´t hold myself back when i saw those two beauties:
And a pair of burgundy tassle loafers....to really bring it to the edge:
There might be more to come...we´ll see. Those beauties, probably...both by french company Markowski.
Or yet another pair...like this one:
Anyway, i have been wearing clothes today...daredevil that i am. Here you go:
And now: off for the weekend...

Bringing out the inner Italian
Folks,
i´m spending the next three days at my parent´s house, together will my love, enjoying the easter break. Getting back to regular scheduled programme on tuesday.
With temperatures climbing up the scale, it was time to rock the new unstructured cotton blazer i recently bought. Surgeon cuffs on it and a self-made laple flower...
@Sabir: thanx, it does mean a lot coming from you!

A special one for....Schlabberbacke aka J
Folks,
what a wonderful weekend i had...spent friday night dinning at a remarkable restaurant named "Heilig Geist" (Holy Gost), situated in a building which was once a medieval hospital...a very special place, with soft music, lots of people and great, super-tasty food...

I believe to have answered every open comment in the previous post...so boys and girs, gimme some more :)

Saturday was pretty easy, i bought my love her christmas present , met J and R at our regular coffee-bar and ended with watching "The Blind Side" with oscar-winning Sandra Bullock. Nice one, by the way, if you feel like believing in the right things and acting accordingly always pays out...one for the heart, i´d say.
Well, nothing noteworthy on sunday...except the fact that i only got three days left on work: i´ll start my time off on thursday...whooooaa, looking forward to that ;)
So, what you all come here for...this time, it´s about skullz ;). J aka Schlabberbacke, this one´s especially for you, hope you like it!

Stop / Start
Folks,
MarcoBerlin, you are totally on track with what you say: i really don´t take any interest in high-fashion brands or the latest designer stuff drippling down from runways. Whenever i post pictures of guys or girls alike, the only question i am asking myself is: would i probably wear this or does it have anything i find pretty cool and like?
As you see, the guys portraied in here might be comming round your corner any time. With a bit of an eye to colours and materials, you can dress as well as them. It doesn´t take thousands of euros to create a look that is unique, yet classical with a modern twist. That´s what men´s wear blogs should be about.
This said, i am putting forward today´s outfit: felt like wearing a bow this morning. Yes, this is excentric, but hey...i like it.

Anyway, went to HM during lunchtime and saw a beautiful orange silk knit pullover for only 15€. Forgot to bring my wallet though, so hopefully i can get my hands on that tomorrow. Apart from that, i was wondering if wearing a vest underneath a tweed jacket is a good idea? What do you think? I can´t find a suitable pic right now, so i´ll show you tomorrow what i am thinking about...
And still, there is another question circling around my mind: in order to prevent from getting cold in the days ahead, would you prefer a duffle coat or a crombie coat? I am in love with both types alas...

Duchamp cufflinks
Habari ya Siku,
today my recently bought cufflinks from the renowned company of Duchamp have arrived: a pair of silver cufflinks, with an enamel circular top with embedded yellow and red paisley pattern...so sweet!

Apart from that, it is still snowing heavily in Wiesbaden, and it seems this winter's going on forever...which is a funny thing to say at the end of january, by the way.
Today i wore the red Tommy Hilfiger tie i bought at TKmaxx in DA a few days ago. It is quite stiff actually, despite the "100& silk" label on it...combined with a pale blue oxford shirt, a dark blue blazer by Boss and a blue silk pochette, it made today's outfit...

This weekend i´ll spend some time in Berlin. Starting saturday afternoon, i hope i´ll get some dressy people to shoot. If not, there will be at least some other pictures, of which content i can´t say right now...we´ll see and hope for the best.
Kwa heri!
