Fellas,
about a year ago, i would have called you all totally nuts if you´d promised me i would once wear a double-breasted sport coat. What is normally the dress of retired grand-fathers or mafiosi pensioneers, has become quite famous, with the likes of Lino Ielluzzi and others sporting it daily. I´ve seen so many great pics of young men wearing db jackets...what might distract the majority of young men wearing that form of formal wear are surely size and fit issues: the double-breasted coat requires suppression around the waist to prevent it from looking like a rectangular piece of textiles wrapped around your body...if you can make sure you won´t have to deal with such hardships, it´s a great addition of nearly every man´s wardrobe.
Apart from that, i am flattered to welcome two new readers to the Blog: please feel welcomed, Jian Qing and Gonzalo. It is a pleasure to have you here and i´m looking forward to both your insightful comments!
Anyway, as always, action speaks louder than words, and you come here for pictures, not words. So here goes my try:
I was pretty proud of the arch that i could achieve on the tie and of its knot...what do you think?
Hey Spoozy,
ReplyDeletegefällt mir ausgesprochen gut! Irgendwelche Tips und Tricks bei der angewendeten Methode?

GREAT! Once again you managed to combine different patterns perfectly. And DB looks pretty fly on you. But what kind of shop is that?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the welcome, and I really like what you show on the blog.
ReplyDeleteNice shirt and shoes.
Gonzalo.
