Folks,
it feels like ages since i last had the chance to blog...spent way too much in the office, cracking my head over things i had to be accounted for, yet not feeling like being able to influence the proceedings.
Dressed to my mood accordingly, so nothing worth sharing with you guys...anyway, i am glad that a new member has joined the Forces: please give a warm welcome to dapper gentleman Mxolisi, situated in South Africa, and author of Perfect Gentleman. Mxolisi, i am glad to have received your first comment and would be delighted to here more from you!

Sorry to hear about your office imprisonment. But I'm loving these pictures; very crisp. A kind of men of style on the move.
ReplyDeletethe gentleman in the mid ( with his great way of wearing ties ) is fantastic. this is a style i love.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout out Spoozy. I feel very welcome already.
ReplyDeleteYou know there is something about double breasted jackets. I just can't exactly put my finger on it but I just love how formal, conservative and regal they look. No matter how fashion forward men's style can be, a double breast jacket will always the aforementioned attributes.
I am really mulling the idea of being the one gentleman who is known for always wearing double breasted jackets.
Great post by the way.
Take care.
@Tracy: so true. Love those gents and their style.
ReplyDelete@Julian: which gentleman in the mid...they are all kind of "in the mid"... :)
@Mxolisi: you definitely are...i really appreciate the time you spend here, commenting a lot. Double breasted jacketts...i never thought about wearing them until i saw a young guy of my age sporting one. It looked fabulous on him...funny thing is, even if i totally agree with what you say (formality), it is still an item that can be worn totally out of context...
